Jane Pollock has a mission to create a platform for community and art to meet. Through a chance meeting with Carolyn Lewis, Owner of Locals Tasting Room in Geyserville,  Locals 2 Creative was conceived.

Weekly classes are offered, many of which are inspired by Pinterest projects using salvaged jewelry components, collage and photography. All for a good cause, Jane is founder of Art Takes a Village. A non-profit that provides funding for art classes that benefit women and children residing in shelters. Art Takes a Village located in Healdsburg and focuses primarily on bringing awareness to the community and connecting local artists to share in the blessing of art therapy to those in need.

For more info visit here.  There is an upcoming Art class on February, 12th and 13th from 6pm to 8pm at the Locals2Creative space in Geyerville. In this class they will be creating beautiful Tiffany collage pendants. You will learn basic collage techniques and also how to pour resin to seal your pendants.

Wine will be served to help with inspiration! Class is offered at $75, which includes all materials needed to make two complete necklaces. Locals wine club members can attend at the reduced rate of $65. Make a pendant for yourself or for a friend as a gift just in time for Valentine’s Day.
